Kindergarten - L’enfant réfugié entre reconstruction et identité

Confinés dans des centres d’accueil à Berlin, les enfants réfugiés se retrouvent dans un contexte difficile : porter en eux la culture d’origine et accepter celle du pays d’accueil, assumer un rôle qui n’est pas le leur et s’intégrer malgré les traumatismes liés à la migration.Face à cette situation, le graphiste peut prendre part à la responsabilité d’accueil en accompagnant l’enfant dans son développement personnel.Il doit proposer des outils graphiques afin de l’aider à redécouvrir sa propre histoire, ouverte sur la multiplicité de ses cultures et orientée vers un avenir meilleur.

Kindergarten - The refugee child, from personal rebuilding to identity

Confined in shelters, refugee children are in a tricky context: bearing their home culture and accepting a new one, assuming the role of an adult as they integrate in spite of their traumas.When confronting this situation, the graphic designer can help accompany the children on their journeys of personal development.The designer must propose graphic tools to support the children and help them to discover personal narrativity, opening up the multiplicity of the cultures and helping them to project themselves into a better future.
