Ferrandi Rouen, école de gastronomie

L’école Ferrandi souhaite s’implanter à Rouen pour profiter des spécificités de son terroir et pour satisfaire une demande de formation dans la région.Étant donné le lien étroit qui existe entre le territoire d’implantation et le travail des cuisiniers, il est essentiel de réussir l’intégration de l’école dans le bâtiment et son site, mais aussi, à une échelle plus grande, dans la communauté rouennaise et son réseau de producteurs. On propose ainsi une école flexible et innovante dans un bâtiment ancien sublimé, dialoguant avec son site en s’ouvrant sur l’extérieur et favorisant les échanges avec les acteurs locaux grâce à des espaces de rencontres dédiés et visibles.

Ferrandi Rouen, a culinary school

The Ferrandi School wants to establish itself in Rouen in order to take advantage of the land’s resources and satisfy a need for culinary training in the region.Given the close link between the site of the establishment and the work of the chef, it is essential to achieve an efficient integration of the school into the existing building and its location, but also into the community of Rouen and its network of producers. Thus, my project aims to create a flexible and innovative school deeply connected to its site through a form of architectural porosity, promoting exchanges with local actors thanks to visible and welcoming meeting spaces.
